Twinizens Make a Splash on Koinup and You Tube

One of the most encouraging signs I've been seeing in terms of Twinity's growing popularity is the fact that there seems to be more creative output from its players in the form of video and screenshots. Because of this, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce readers to a few of the Twinizens who are making their mark in places like Koinup and You Tube.

Koinup Galleries

Do you keep hearing about Koinup but still have no idea what it's all about? If so, then here goes: Koinup is an online gallery and social networking site where players can post screenshots, machinima, and storyboards from their favorite metaverse, whether it be Second Life, IMVU, Frenzoo, Blue Mars, or otherwise.

Hearing this, you may be tempted to think that Koinup is nothing more than a dumping ground for your average, boring, run-of-the-mill screenshots and videos. On the contrary-- because it encourages creativity in the form of contests and other incentives, many of Koinup's users produce some gorgeous and professional-looking submissions that are simply out of this world.

For the most part, Twinity has sort of been lagging somewhat behind other metaverses when it comes to submissions. But recently, a few Twinizens have been uploading some outstanding screenshots and machinima that's finally beginning to catch up with some of the more artistic submissions you tend to get from other worlds. Below are their Koinup galleries, where you can view their work:

1) annavalfridsson: http://www.koinup.com/annavalfridsson/
annavalfridsson recently put out some rather sensual and romantic pictures, featuring herself and Flo. Below is an example:

2) lourenco: http://www.koinup.com/lourenco/
Not only has lourenco been posting some cool video captures of events in Twinity, he's uploaded a few shots of himself looking quite dapper, as you can see from the following screenshot:

This is the gallery maintained by Twinity itself, with screen captures from many special events and places.

You Tube Galleries

YouTube has also seen a surge of creative work from Twinity players. Below is list of YouTube channels from the most active Twinizens:

1) virtualnerworkers: http://www.youtube.com/user/virtualnerworkers
virtualnerworkers' specialty is capturing key social events for posterity, such as parties and concerts.

2) joseantoniotwinity: http://www.youtube.com/user/joseantoniotwinity
joseantoniotwinity has uploaded many interesting videos of himself driving in and around town, as well as some video captures of many in-world parties and club events.

3) SquirrelTwinity: http://www.youtube.com/user/SquirrelTwinity
Probably one of the most polished of machinima makers, SquirelTwinity creates very slick, MTV-style music videos.

4) Twinity Rules: http://www.youtube.com/user/TwinityRules
This is the official channel run by Twinity, filled with promotional trailers, tutorials, and captures of in-world events.

5) TheSaldiva: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheSaldiva
The channel maintained by Monica herself, it has fascinating real life footage that should be of great interest to Twinizens, since they're taken at the real life locations of Twinity's virtual cities.

Intrigued? So, what're you waiting for? Check out these Koinup galleries and You Tube channels today! Or better yet, why not start up a gallery and video channel of your own and join the ranks of Twinity's most creative citizens? ;-)
